Be the voice of Quality in the project execution community, being accountable of the timely availability of the quality deliverables – according to the Product Development and Commercial Launch process – and the use of preventative tools; actively participate in all key preventative activities and routines also not directly owned by Quality (e.g. Pre-DS project target setting according to the Voice of the Consumer, DFMEA/PSRA/PFMEA/general compliance etc.)
Handover the developed range quality plan to reference factory Quality team after full range ramp up deployment, validating project Transfer Plan
Act as a bridge towards the reference factory Quality teams along the whole project journey to ensure a smooth qualitative execution in the targeted manufacturing environment (internal production or sourced products)
Establish consistent Project management for the Quality activities according to the overall project needs, checkpoints and deliverables
Promote and develop a rigorous approach for requirements and capabilities among the partner functions in the projects (R&D, Quality, Product Line, Design, Digital Product Organization, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Product Sourcing, Consumer Service etc.); collect and coordinate the execution of project quality plans to achieve set targets with all relevant function
Translate project requirements and attribute targets in a structured data-driven validation plan, meeting the overall project timeline and the checkpoint dates, ensuring the required deliverables and supporting every evaluation and decision with evidence from test
Activate and proactively attend to DFMEAs and consequent PSRAs for all the owned projects, covering and evaluating all the area of risk, challenging the status quo.
Develop and promote with R&D and other stakeholders a test portfolio, related to both product-related technical aspects and to assess the usability of new products in real target consumer use condition, in close collaboration with the relevant Field Quality Engineers, in order to ensure a delighting consumer experience.
Proactively attend to PFMEA sessions to ensure the deployment of the projects in the manufacturing environment, to support the definition of the related Process Control Plan.
Be proficient in the knowledge of automations and in the process controls developments planned to execute the new products, providing proper recommendation in case of gaps or improvement opportunities identified.
Be proficient in product knowledge in order to create and develop a portfolio of test to learn and test to fail, in order to evaluate the risk/opportunities related to new technical solutions and the overall robustness of the products, comparing with the current product baseline.
Develop a structured set of documents, with clear communication of the evaluation done based on the evidence found, to become a fundamental part of the project deliverables.
Promote and coordinate the involvement of the Plant Quality Team on the different project deliverables, in particular Component Approval activities in close collaboration with Supplier Quality
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Quality, R&D, Product Marketing, Industrial Operations or Consumer Services from international work environment
Proven experience in Innovation Activation stage and gate/agile processes
Knowledge with proven and practical experience with key quality tools and methodologies
Passion for consumer experience and its translation in product improvement
Proficient in project management methodologies
Knowledge of Food Preservation product category is a plus
Assertive individual with strong influencing and negotiating skills, digitally-minded and data drive obsessed, with excellent strategic insights and solutions
