Identify and capitalize on new international business partnership opportunities, with a primary focus on the Chinese market.
Conduct in-depth market research to uncover trends, customer preferences, competitor strategies, and growth potential in China.
Develop a profound understanding of Chinese customer needs, buying behavior, and cultural nuances to craft effective business strategies tailored to the market.
Create and implement comprehensive business strategies for market penetration in China, setting both short-term and long-term goals aligned with the company’s objectives.
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, distributors, and key stakeholders in China to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth.
Act as a trusted advisor to management on business development initiatives, particularly for China, and support strategic decision-making.
Drive growth and success in the Chinese market by achieving OKRs/targets, managing resources efficiently, and owning P&L responsibilities, including financial modeling for deal analysis and commercial negotiations.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and branding strategies specific to the Chinese market, ensuring the company's products or services align with local demands.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
Proven experience of over 7 years in international business development, particularly in the food industry and focusing on the Chinese market.
Strong analytical skills for market research, customer insights, and competitor analysis specific to China.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate cultural nuances in China.
Proactive, result-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic market conditions.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, capable of working independently and in cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred.
