IT Manager (Governance)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Policy Creation:
•Develop, implement, and update comprehensive IT policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards, legal regulations, compliance, risk, and company objectives.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, ensure policy consistency, and promote adherence throughout the organization.
•Regularly review and revise policies to ensure their relevance and effectiveness in a rapidly evolving IT landscape.
•Educate employees and stakeholders about IT policies and their importance for maintaining security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
IT Governance:
•Establish and maintain effective governance processes for managing the outsourced IT team's performance, including service level agreements (SLAs) and performance management.
•Foster strong working relationships with the outsourced IT team, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the alignment of their activities with the organization's goals.
•Monitor and assess the outsourced team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions as needed.
•Collaborate with internal teams to integrate the outsourced IT team's activities seamlessly within the organization's IT operations.
•Providing governance, risk, and compliance data insights to drive improvement across the IT system
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or other technical fields
•3-7 years' experience in Information Technology, IT Governance or related fields
•Experience in managing relationships with outsourced IT service providers
•Ability to translate technical or complex concepts into user-friendly language
Ability to collaborate, working closely with both functional and technical teams
•Effective communications skills including written, verbal, and presentation
