Responsibilities:

Investment Activities

• Develop investment strategies that align with organizational goals and risk appetite
• Evaluate and execute investment deals that comply with company’s strategy
• Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and financial statements to make informed investment decisions

Portfolio Management

• Oversee the performance and strategic direction of the investment portfolio
• Monitor and report on the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies
• Work alongside strategic portfolio companies and True Digital Group BUs to ensure planned synergies and collaboration are realized
• Coordinate and prepare for board meetings of portfolio companies, ensuring effective governance and communication

Financial Analysis and Due Diligence

• Perform detailed financial modelling, analysis, and due diligence on potential investments and partnerships
• Prepare investment proposals and presentations for senior management and stakeholders

Relationship/Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with startups, venture capital firms, industry stakeholders, and potential investor/partners
• Collaborate with internal teams including finance, legal, and compliance to ensure investment activities comply with regulations and internal policies

Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of investment analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional development and career growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree (MBA, MS Finance) or CFA designation is preferred
• Proven experience as an Investment Manager, Investment Analyst, or similar role with a successful track record in investment management, ideally in the Digital/Technology industry
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and investment valuation techniques.
• Excellent understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment products
• Ability to make strategic decisions based on comprehensive financial analysis and market research.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts to stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
