Civil & Structural Design Engineers

Job Description

• Civil design of site storm & drainage system, roads & paving system, site preparation works, storm water retention ponds, waste water holding ponds, CT blowdown ponds, fences & gates.
• Design and development of foundation drawing for turbine and generator, electrical and mechanical equipment, pipe racks and buildings.
• Review geotechnical data and formulate foundation criteria.
• Prepare drawings for dynamically loaded machine foundation and piling.
• Detailed structural steel design for electrical and mechanical equipment and pipe support structure.
• Detailed structural steel/concrete building design.
• Steel joint connection design.
• Prepare bill of quantity, cost estimate and specification.
• Active participation in the technical discussions with other AFRY units, the client and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Civil works design and Structural Design. Experience in Power plant project will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of using international codes such as EUROCODE, ACI, IBC, ASCE, AISC.
• Computer-literate & have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP 2000, STAADPRO and ROBOT
• Good command of English and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and service-minded.
• High responsibility and able to work under pressure with good working attitude.
• Possess engineering license level I would be advantage.
