DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure that all works are carried out in the safest manner possible
- To ensues that all Mermaid Subsea Services Procedure and Policies are adhered to
- To ensure that all relevant legislation and Regulations are adhered to
- To complete all works to the clients satisfaction
- Assist in the preparation of the Scope of Work of the project
- Participate in project MTO and Installation deck layout to meet project and Client requirement
- Attend and actively contribute to HAZIDs, Constructability sessions, and other COMPANY or CONTACTOR workshops that may impact installation works.
- Assign engineering work; cable Umbilical and flexible flow lines installation analysis
- Design various installation aids, heavy lift and lifting analysis
- Generate installation procedures for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and standards for subsea cable installation
- Proactive leadership in the areas of environment, safety and quality during all phases of the project
- Participate in review of offshore feedback and Lesson learnt for project productivities improvement
- Assist in review of various project schedules providing feedback as requirement
- Attend project meetings as requirement
- Review documentation from other project disciplines(suppliers and internal) to ensure Installation requirement are understood and implemented
- Assist in compilation of Final Reports and Submissions
JOB SPECIFICATION
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineer or relate field
- 5-10 years in an offshore and/or marine engineering and construction environment is a requirement
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good communication skills in spoken and written Thai and English
- Fluent computer literacy, must be proficient in AutoCAD
- Effectively manage relationship between other department to improve processes and controls for project execution.
- Understanding startup company environment
- knowledgeable and experienced with the ROV control is optional
