Civil Engineer - Low Rise Condo (Phuket)

Responsibilities

• Detailed Design Development:
• Develop and refine detailed designs for civil construction projects.
• Feasibility Assessments and Site Inspections:
• Conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections to ensure project viability.
• Project Planning and Implementation:
• Prepare and implement comprehensive project plans for civil construction, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Regulatory Review:
• Review and interpret government regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance.
• Safety and Compliance Monitoring:
• Monitor and optimize safety procedures, civil structure integrity, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Problem-Solving and Recommendations:
• Provide recommendations or present alternative solutions to any issues that arise during the project.
• Client and Subcontractor Liaison:
• Confidently liaise with clients and professional subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Project Management:
• Manage budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquire and compile quotes; and oversee overall project management duties.

Qualifications

• Citizenship and Residency:
• Thai citizen, any gender, resident in Thailand.
• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Certification:
• Registration/Licensure as a professional engineer may be required.
• Experience:
• At least 6 years of experience in construction, specifically within the automotive factory sector.
• Software Proficiency:
• Familiarity with design software such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high accuracy in calculations and design.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Leadership skills to manage a diverse team of professionals effectively.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
