Responsibilities / Key Activities
STRATEGIC CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT
- Support Shopper marketing manager in developing category vision and cascade on channel level.
- Update Category Drivers with new products and initiatives launch.
- Generate new relevant shopper / channel insights, lead Shopper / Customer studies.
- Lead NP launch preparation from Shopper marketing side: route to trade, selling story, Perfect store KPIs. Collaborate with marketing to design the best bundle and the optimum trade support.
- Participate in all AOP process to reach OPEX objectives.
STRATEGIC CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT
- Together with Customer shopper manager determine priorities on Category management projects, support him/her in leading top customer projects (JBP) and personally lead cross-customer / channel projects.
- Run category, channel, and customer analysis to detect opportunities to increase category & brand sales for all customers.
- Design assortment and shelving guidelines per channel to increase Company and Category profit.
- Make proposal on shelf-decoration to ensure lay-out implementation and guarantee its permanence in a long-term basis to reach sales objective.
- Run quarterly / monthly evolution of the category management projects.
- Lead meetings with customers to present category expertise and vision.
- Align with Shopper market manager on which segment will be key priority for each month / Quarter and prepare execution via 4p.
PERFECT STORE
- Support Shopper marketing manager in leading Perfect store both National level and store level: defining the key opportunities on MSL for nationally and account-specific and also prepare and align with Sales Team for shelf position, share of shelf, assortment/ distribution opportunities, OOS, promotional executions etc.
- Revise Perfect store KPIs annually or with new initiatives launch to deliver sustainable growth with on high sales efficiency level.
- Lead Perfect store scorecard, provide monthly communication of Perfect store KPIs performance with Sales feedback, report qualitative summary to Shopper marketing manager and Sales Leads.
PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY
- Support Shopper marketing manager in developing promo strategy per channel based on brand objectives and company financial KPIs.
- Lead the proposal of new promotional activity with our products to increase our promotional effectiveness per customer and increase sales for both companies.
- Prepare data support for discussion during inflation which will impact to price increase.
SALES FORCE
- Develop and deploy educational materials, based on category knowledge, to deliver Category vision and drivers.
- Help to prepare and participate in regional meetings to share future plans, relevant information and receive feedback.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor in business, economics, or marketing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Shopper marketing
- Trade marketing experience would be prefer.
- FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) market knowledge.
- Knowledge of information system tools (AC Nielsen, Egg digital, Kantar panel and Sell out from each retail)
- Upper-intermediate English
