Buyer (Marketplace)
Job Description
1. Merchandise PlanningAnalyze consumer buying patterns and predict future trends based on e-commerce sales big data.- Sourcing targeted assortment from existing and new suppliers based on wish list.- Negotiate on supply price to get a competitive price.- Review performance indicators (e.g. sales, discount levels, traffic, and conversion rate).- Write reports and forecast sales levels on a weekly and monthly basis for owning categories.
2. Pricing and sales management- Manage on product pricing to balance sales and margin.- Own product P&L, responsible for margin.- Participate in promotional activities and work with the store ops team to develop sales for merchandise.
3. Vendor Management- Meet suppliers and negotiate- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.- Contact suppliers in order or schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years relevant experience in brand or e-retailing industry.
- Experience in sales and stock management, strong result driving- Price negotiation experience and capability in certain area, be familiar with industry cost
- Fluent in Thai and English communication
- Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Sales Analysis and Forecasting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills- Hold a bachelor degree
- Knowledge of mandarin would be a plus.
- Knowledge of internet and e-commerce would be a plus.
