AVP,Credit Analyst

About the job

We are currently seeking for many experienced Credit Analysts to join our Japanese & Non-Japanese Corporate Banking department. You will assist the Relationship Manager in writing credit application and credit control.

• Being responsible for credit analysis in related aspects such as economics, industry, financial statements, fundamental analysis of customers, etc.
• Minimizing credit risk base on present situation of customer and global market.
• Working closely with Relationship Manager to prepare credit application and support customer’s request.
• Evaluating the financial standing of new and existing borrowers.
• Preparing credit proposals for new borrowers and credit reviews for existing borrowers.
• Timely completion of adhoc reviews/monitoring and monthly reporting.
• Ensuring that new transactions and credit renewals meet SMBC’s risk acceptance criteria, credit policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Banking and Finance , Business Administration or related field
• At least 3 years of related field professional experience in Corporate banking.
• Possess a through knowledge of related banking products and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in English and good in computer literacy.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and deadline.
