Accounting Manager (Stock Control)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, guideline setting, reporting, and data analysis of inventory for all responsible companies, ensuring reliability for both internal and external departments while protecting the company's interests.
Monitor and resolve issues, providing problem-solving recommendations to ensure the completion of tasks. Ensure customs can close quarterly inventory accounts accurately and on time as per customs regulations.
Set goals, plan manpower, establish work standards to be completed on time, evaluate performance, and find ways to improve errors in work processes.
Verify and sign off on documents such as inventory count summaries, adjustment reports, and product destruction approvals in compliance with the Revenue Department regulations. Handle notifications for various pending items like INTRANSIT goods, pending adjustments, and monthly inventory summary reports, aging reports, non-moving inventory reports, credit notes, and product returns from the Pickup Counter to ensure timely financial closure.
Define and oversee the preparation of various reports for submission to executives and government agencies, including daily, monthly, and quarterly inventory reports for customs officials, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
Act as an advisor, trainer, and mentor to subordinates to standardize work processes and enable team members to back each other up. Provide solutions to issues for department staff and related divisions to achieve objectives.
Ensure the completeness and timeliness of reports submitted to executives and government agencies, achieving 100% accuracy.
Control the expenses of the inventory control department within the approved annual budget.
Improve work processes for greater accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
