Ensure Sales/Business Development efforts through preparation of accurate quotations, initiate/follow up on overseas enquiries to ensure rates proposal provided is the best competitive allowing Schenker overseas & Schenker Thai to secure business.
Participate in contract & price negotiation with carriers as well as various subcontractors.
Manage team for tender documents preparation -- RFI’s, RFQ’s and ITB’s both technical and commercial proposal. Explore and propose alternative / creative proposals.
Coordinate inquiries involving ocean freight, airfreight, and logistics with pricing colleague in charge if other services involved with other departments as well.
Able to manage costing of OOG, Flat rack, Open Top, Break Bulk, Vessel Charter, Heavy Lift
After business is secured, prepare SOP’s and implement project in cooperation with operational staffs.
Provide guidance and support operations during project execution.
Coordinate and cooperate with Schenker overseas including providing/follow up of sales leads and quotations.
Prepare reports for SKR Thai management and RHO/Global project oil & gas management.
Other duties as assigned by General Manager, Projects Oil & Gas.
Bachelor’s degree or higher required in any field.
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in freight forwarding business.
Strong Negotiation skills.
Computer literacy (power point, Excel, Word and Outlook) is a must.
Ability to communicate effectively in Thai and English.
Inter-company networking skills – team player (ability to work long hours and weekends unsupervised).
