Regulatory Affairs Associate Manager, APAC Self Care

The position is responsible for

• Developing and implementing regulatory strategies to support business plans.
• Representing Asia Pacific Regulatory Affairs in cross-functional Regional and Global teams.
• Collaborating with regulatory colleagues in APAC markets to drive business growth through innovative regulatory strategies.
• Partnering with marketing and R&D to develop robust claims supported by science.
• Providing regulatory support for policy, external engagement, and issue management.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively partner with the business in strategic planning and provide innovative regulatory strategies.
• Represent Asia Pacific Regulatory Affairs in cross-functional Regional and Global teams.
• Work with regulatory colleagues in APAC markets to develop innovative regulatory strategies for new product introductions.
• Partner with marketing and across the R&D organization to develop robust and innovative claims supported with sound science.
• Support local teams in anticipating, monitoring, assessing, and shaping the external environment.
• Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory, industry, legislative, political, and competitor activities

Required Qualifications

• A science degree with an understanding of regulatory strategy in the pharmaceutical, consumer, or medical devices sector.
• Detailed understanding of OTC medicine registrations with a minimum of 3 years’ experience across APAC within a pharmaceutical or consumer health company.
• Experience with interacting or understanding APAC Health Authorities requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills of the English language.
