RD Continuous Improvement Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Discover, explore and innovate the technologies including processing routes to maximize CPF R&D capabilities and enable implementation of Technology innovation / renovation program.
• Assess and establish partnerships with suppliers of technologies or services depending on project needs.
• Identify and evaluate innovative processing options based on product attribute requirements including evaluation based on technical and economic feasibility.
• Lead end-to-end new Product Manufacturing Process development activities, including but not limited to, developing and defining Process Design, Key Process Parameter settings and Process Specification for development of new product recipes, new Raw Materials, New processing lines and/or new equipment as well as development and/or deployment of new innovative Processing Technologies in Manufacturing Sites.
• Develop and implement scalable operating specifications collaboratively developed with Product Development and Process development to achieve exceptional product attribute targets and ensure superior product quality and food safety.
• Manage the effective execution of line trials and process capability evaluations.
• Work as part of the R&D team to assist in the scale-up risk and introduction of technology into supply chain.
• Execute test plans and use SPC data analysis to quantify key process and packaging machine parameters and fundamental mechanisms at both pilot and factory scale.
• Ensure all process design and specification consistently deliver products according to Product design specification and in compliance with Product and Packaging Manufacturing Quality (GMP/FSSC) standards and systems.
• Provide technical support on RD Product & Process Innovation and also manufacturing Efficiency, Cost and Capacity Improvement projects and technical assistance on troubleshooting for issues associated with Product Manufacturing Process Design and Specification.
• Represent RD Process team in communication and meeting with internal cross-functional team and suppliers on Process Design, Specification and other technical related matters.
• Identify and lead process improvement opportunities as agreed upon and prioritized by the Process Development Manager & RD & BU Team, across the factory network focused on New product development , improving product or processing.
• Lead /Perform assigned Strategic action plans based on CPF R&D Process Team Strategy
• Responsible for the effective partnering of internal network to deliver project milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Mechanical, Chemical, Food Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-10 Years experience related to at least one of the following: product development, packaging, trials, process improvement, Production /Quality engineering and/or R&D.
• Experienced in Food Manufacturing Process and/or strong technical competency in various Food Processing Technologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, statistical process control (Minitab , SPSS), Quality Management Systems and Q-methods/techniques (preferred)
• Food Science &Processing / Process Design and Capability analysis
