Operation Excellence Director

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the OE (Operations Excellence) function in the country/cluster
• Member of the OE Board and actively participates within this Board
• Responsible and accountable for both delivering of the agreed global agenda and value of OE initiatives within the country/cluster
• Ensure that the OE agenda is aligned to support the business needs in country/cluster
• Responsible for the OE input to new business tenders and proposals
• Supports effective start-ups by providing resources, advice and guidance
• Seeks commercial opportunities from promoting OE initiatives with customers
• Communication responsibility - to business, to customers, to employees
• Represent the OE agenda on the country/cluster senior management team
• Accountable for the delivery of all OE activities and functions (Safety, Security, QRA, Operation Management System (OMS), Labour Management etc.)
• Leads the OE area by example and supports the country/cluster senior management team on their journey towards a Lean thinking
• Fosters a continuous improvement culture and relentlessly seeking opportunities for improvements on all levels within the organization
• Maintains close relationship with the customers from the business development phase through the customer life cycle.
• Ensures accurate management reporting via Logics from sites and uses this management information to make recommendations for improvement and take mitigating actions

Requirements:

• Experience of operational line management in the supply chain business - proven record as senior or management level required for this role
• Experience of LEAN methodology and a continuous improvement approach
• Solid understanding of the operational excellence function
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong leadership capability
• Strong influencing skills and credibility with senior stakeholders
• Team skills, and the ability to work effectively within the OE community network is also a key factor
• Proficiency both in Thai and English communication
