Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable API modules and detailed API specifications to facilitate efficient data exchange.
• Create optimized database schemas and OpenEHR templates to support complex data structures within healthcare applications.
• Utilize domain-driven design principles to define clear software domain boundaries and design RESTful API architectures.
• Estimate high-level effort required for feature completion, aiding in project planning and resource allocation.
• Design comprehensive software architectures that address product goals, scalability, and maintainability.
• Craft deployment diagrams that adhere to security best practices, ensuring robust defense mechanisms are integrated into software deployments.
• Regularly collect and integrate feedback from stakeholders on the solution design to ensure continuous improvement of the system.
• Work closely with Business Analysts (BAs) to translate user requirements into ubiquitous language, ensuring consistency from user stories to implementation.
• Partner with Staff Engineers to ensure that code designs align with the overall software architecture.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to ensure that the software architecture is implemented according to design.
• Design and conduct proofs of concept (PoCs) for new technologies, assessing their potential integration into our tech stack based on development ease, operational complexity, security, performance, cost, and developer experience.
• Regularly present architecture updates to both the product team and management to align on progress and strategic direction.
• Define specifications for migrating data from legacy systems to new applications and for data interfaces between applications.
• Evaluate and document the existing IT infrastructure of customers as a foundational step for implementing Cortex, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of current capabilities and requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyze customer workflows and gather detailed requirements, aiming to bridge any technological gaps and enhance workflow efficiency through feasible solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field
• Proven minimum 3 years' experience in relevant role or industry
• Proven ability to lead and manage complex micro-service software.
• Proven ability to develop standard software pattern for complex software system.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FHIR persistence technology
• Experience in OpenEHR technology
• Experience in Camunda Platform
• Experience in Terminology server for example FHIR Terminology server, Ontoserver or Snowstorm.
