Manager/Senior Manager, Data Governance

What you’ll Do

• Data Governance Strategy: develops and implements a data governance strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes defining data governance policies, procedures, and standards that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data
• Data Quality and Management: is responsible for establishing processes and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of data across the organization. They work with data stewards to ensure that data is properly classified, stored, and maintained
• Data Privacy and Compliance: ensures that the organization is complying with relevant data protection laws and regulations. They establish policies and procedures to ensure that data is collected, stored, and used ethically and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Data Architecture: works with data architects to develop and maintain a data architecture that supports the organization's data governance objectives. They ensure that data is stored in a way that is accessible and secure and that data integration processes are properly managed
• Stakeholder Management: works with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that they understand the importance of data governance and are aligned with the organization's data governance strategy. They establish communication channels to keep stakeholders informed about data governance policies and procedures
• Overall the role will play a critical role in ensuring that an organization's data assets are managed effectively and used to drive business value. They must have a deep understanding of the organization's goals, culture, and regulatory environment and be able to work effectively with stakeholders across the enterprise to achieve their objectives

What you’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or a related field
• Demonstrate leadership in implementing data governance programs and frameworks
• Deep understanding of data management best practices, regulatory standards, and current trends
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data governance challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate the value of data governance to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a complex organization.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team of data governance professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Proficiency in communication both English and Thai
