Machining Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources to align with the master plan and meet shipping schedules.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and productivity.
• Resolve issues and delays in the production line.
• Identify ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.
• Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of operators to meet objectives, deliver best practice results, add value, and drive continuous improvement.

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC machines and machining processes, including turning, milling, multitasking, grinding, honing, and boring.
• Familiarity: Manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
• Software Skills: Ability to use AutoCAD to create simple drawings.

Soft Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Over 3 years of experience in steel fabrication processes, project control, or erection, especially at a management level.
• Experience in: Fabrication, erection, and process control.
• Skills: Production management and improvement systems.
• Language Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
