Position Details
Key Accountabilities:
Facilitation: Lead and facilitate a team of scrum masters while maintaining a focus on achieving business value, driving results that contribute to the bottom line.
Agile Business Alignment: Bridge the gap between Agile practices and Our Principles, ensuring that the Agile approach aligns with our business transformation goals and strategies.
Scrum Process Leadership: Act as an advocate for Agile principles and practices, guiding and coaching development teams, concept owners, and stakeholders on aligning their efforts with business outcomes.
Commercial Awareness: Develop an understanding of the business operational and commercial landscape and customer needs to provide valuable insights that shape the team's priorities and decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business priorities and translate them into actionable tasks for the project team, ensuring that the work undertaken directly impacts transformation success.
Metrics-Driven Approach: Utilize Agile metrics and data analysis to measure the impact of the team's work on business objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential business and commercial risks, collaborating with the team to implement mitigation strategies that safeguard project success.
Team Empowerment: Foster a culture of ownership and accountability within the team, encouraging them to take ownership of their work and its impact on business outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives not only within the team's processes but also in the context of business performance, making recommendations for refining strategies and practices.
Coaching and Collaboration: Provide guidance and coaching to team members on aligning their efforts with business goals, promoting collaboration and cross-functional understanding.
Business-Driven Mindset: Instill a business-driven mindset within the team, ensuring they understand the implications of their work and how it contributes to overall business transformation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree along with 5 to 8 years' change management and supply chain/logistics experience.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications will be a plus.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master, guiding teams towards business-focused Agile practices and methodologies.
Strong grasp of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.), coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills.
Familiarity with Agile tools and business intelligence software.
