Key Accountabilities and Dimension:
Develop medium term (12 month) supply plans to support sector business objectives.
- Develop long and short- term production/sterilization capacity planning to assure that production capacity and materials/supply vendor capacity is available to meet both current and projected sector sales demand.
- Ensure manufacturing capacity profiles (rate/routings etc) are accurate and up to date.
- Ensure BOM’s and production versions are accurate and up to date and maintain where appropriate.
- Obtain details of all planned product upgrade/introduction/obsolescence from business teams.
- Developed balanced plan
- Monitor near term schedules for conformance to plan
Develop short term (weeks 1-6) production and co-packing/subcon plans and initiate execution.
- Monitor the macro needs of medium-term plans for weeks 1-6.
- Monitor near term production, material and co-packer/subcon constraints.
- Identify scheduling priorities.
- Develop and communicate production schedule to operations.
- Confirm order quantity/schedule to co-packer/subcons.
Control material availability through material requirement planning and communication with vendors.
- Monitor near-medium term supply plans generate material requirements
- Provide forecasts of material requirements to vendors
- Generate requisitions for materials according to planned requirements and inventory policy
- Monitor and expedite delivery of materials ordered
Analyze and calculate material inventory levels.
- Vendor delivery conformance to plan and inventory level performance
- Carry out statistical analysis and calculations for recommended inventory
- Calculate physical storage impacts
- Recommend target inventories
Controlling and reporting of key KPI’s – Inventory Day cover of all categories: finished goods, semi-finished goods, raw material, operating supply, Conformance to Plan, Rate of Operation.
- Provide inventory cover day projection
- Ensure inventory cover day by category are on target or else providing action plan
- Balancing inventory, warehouse space and business requirement
- Gathering conformance to plan KPI, provide analysis of root cause and propose action plan
- Challenging to get accurate ROP

Major Challenge:
- Functions are currently carried out in a number of different countries and organisations. This means the incumbent must deal with different cultures, level of language and written communication skills, and geographic separation of people.

Essential Qualifications and Experiences:
- Master/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in production planning skill in FMCG or related multinational company.
- Skills & technical knowledge of Planning, Commercial knowledge, SAP R3, APO (or other ERP), Excel advance skill.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of company financial and operational impacts.
- Fluent in English Communication (Speaking / Writing/ Reading)
- Excellent MS Office (Excel)
- Good facilitation skills are required.
