Steel Fabrication Supervisor

Job Description

• Plant Operations: Direct and coordinate plant operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe plant environment.
• Policy and Procedure: Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.
• Production Goals: Oversee plant production goals and ensure they are met.
• Community Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with the community.
• KPI Analysis: Analyze and summarize Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and implement improvements.
• Production Schedules: Establish and manage all shift production schedules.
• Department Coordination: Confer with department heads to coordinate PM, purchasing, shipping, and other functions.
• Staff Management: Foster a well-trained and motivated staff; select and train subordinates; conduct performance reviews.
• Meetings: Schedule and control plant meetings.
• Quality Control: Ensure product quality control for the plant.
• Training and Meetings: Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
• Company Systems: Support and control company activity systems such as 5S and ISO.
• Workshop Management: Manage the workshop to achieve productivity, quality, and delivery goals.

Safety and Quality Responsibilities

• Safety Standards: Maintain safety standards and comply with the company's Health, Safety, and Environment Management System.
• Health and Safety: Take responsibility for personal health and safety, and the safety of others in the workplace.
• Quality Standards: Follow and maintain company quality standards in accordance with the company quality system requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Fabrication Process: Knowledge of fabrication processes.
• Welding Process: Understanding of welding processes.
• Production Management: Experience in production management.

Soft Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Industrial, Production, Mechanical, or a related field).
• Experience: More than 3 years of experience in steel fabrication, project control, or erection, especially at a management level.
• Field Experience: Experience in fabrication, erection, and process control.
• Production Management: Skills in production management and improvement systems.
• Language Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
