Position Details
Main Tasks
Ensure all the 4 assets (Thailand, India,China and Indonesia) across Asia are running on optimum capacity and there are no supply disruptions. Host Asset update meeting with all the sites on a monthly basis.
Discuss the capacity utilization for the current and forthcoming months based on the rolling sales forecast. Work with respective stakeholders to provide inventory forecast for the future month across all sites and countries.
Discuss any deviations from the previous month and future outlook.
The first level of escalation management, effectively coordinate and communicate with respective stake holders (CSO, planners and customer) on a day to day basis depending on the situation.
Identify potential supply risk coming from various side, such as shut down, logistic service, material availability, quality issue, market demand change and social situation change. Initiate risk assessment with de-risk options.
Evaluate de-risk options on cost, supply reliability and asset effectiveness.
Steer the decision making with business management team, including sales, price/margin management, value chain management. Implement actions with key care takers and host the communication with impacted parties.
Establish and lead the regional S&OP process with operation and relevant stake holders.
Steer rough cut planning decision process of key planning topics such as supply plan based on “profit oriented push”, inventory direction along with cross supply.
Enhance a close-loop communication between regional level rough cut planning and site level detail planning.
Manage alignment of sites for topics of cross supply, intermediate supply and product localization.
Present a MIS of the same to operation management in the monthly S&OP meeting and discuss on key topics and follow up on the action items discussed.
Continuously challenge existing supply chain on reducing waste, optimizing cost, enhancing delivery reliability, simplifying interface and shortening processing time
Actively look for opportunities of harmonization and complexity reduction to optimize supply capability, asset effectiveness, storage capacity and changeover.
Track Volume development with all key customers across the 4 assets on a weekly basis and alert the business teams in case if deviation.
Monitor the inventory levels across all sites both at FG and RM level to keep under the agreed OIV and TIQ targets. Review aging stock for all sites and monitor the liquidation plan for the same on a monthly level.
Update material master list and maintain logistic cost in CSP.
Mapping of new ship to codes and supply locations in Asia
Upload the complete capacity view in Dynamo on a monthly level. In case there are major changes with in the month the same needs to be uploaded to have the correct picture for the Dynamo decision making.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Business Management, or Chemistry
Minimum 5 years in supply chain or related function. Proven successful performance in commodity or FMCG related business environment.
