Sr Engineer (HDD Electrical Failure Analysis)

About The Role - You Will

• Provide electrical analysis on the HDD failures from both internal testbed and customer returns.
• Provide HDD attributes analysis
• Provide and/or drive for the failure’s root cause
• Work with the related areas (Design Center, Factory and Supplier) for the action’s recommendation.
• Develop the automated failure analysis system/tools and utilization

• Self-motivated and independent learner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Team player with stakeholder management skills
• Able to prioritize the multi-tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment

Your Experience Includes

• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Electrical Engineering is preferable)
• Experience in HDD manufacturing or HDD failure analysis
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Fluent communication in English
• Good knowledge of data analysis and working proficiency with analytic tools (such as JMP).
• Computer programming skills in Python (or C++, Java)
