Lead and act as secretary of Safety committee and conduct meeting by monthly basis.
Regularly arrange safety team inspection to identify and eliminate unsafe work practices/condition.
Act as Hazardous substance officer.
Take role as IPO and responsible for all issues related to information protection.
Ensure Waste Management is met BASF requirement and Thai law.
Develop Fire protection plan and procedure and ensure all equipment are well maintained.
Report all EHS as per legal requirement.
Comply with Process safety management as per law required.
Ensure ISO 14001 and other specific EHS system internal, external and customer etc. are well maintained.
Conduct risk assessment and submit to IEAT and Department of Industrial Work (DIW) as per required.
Review JSA and ensure employee and contractor are followed safety rule and requirement during work.
To improve site contractor Management and make sure the BASF requirements are taken into account.
Develop EHS training Matrix and plan and make sure the BASF requirements and legal are taken into account. Provide EHS training to employee and contractor regularly.
Promote Safety Champions report and site EHS promotion activities such as 5 minutes safety talk, GSD etc.
Support and coordinate Site EHS and country EHS for EHS/Responsible Care implementation.
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental or certified Safety Officer as required by Thai regulations.
2-5 years working experience in EHS area and/or production, engineering. A leadership experience would be an advantage.
Good English Proficiency
Excellent communication and management skill, familiar with local legislation system and legal requirements in EHS. Must have good understanding of scope and function of EHS units.
