Job Description

1. HSE Compliance & Oversight

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at solar energy project sites.

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe behaviors, or non-compliance with safety regulations.

• Ensure proper and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel and contractors.

2. Training & Awareness

• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.

3. Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, and near-miss events.

• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

4. Coordination & Safety Culture

• Collaborate with the Safety Manager, project managers, site engineers, and contractors to implement continuous safety improvements.

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for all safety-related concerns, providing timely guidance and solutions.

• Encourage and maintain a proactive safety culture through clear communication and team engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a safety-related role, preferably within EPC, construction, or renewable energy industries.

• Direct experience with solar PV projects is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).

• Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams in high-pressure environments.
