Senior Risk Engineer

MAIN DUTIES

Risk Assessment

• Undertake large and complex property loss control surveys / risk assessments for insurance companies independently.
• Develop risk survey report for underwriting information. The report composes of the explanation of the quality of risk, the estimate maximum loss (EML), identify special hazards for the industries, and risk improvement recommendation.

Risk Management Service

• Provide risk management services as an independent consultant, find the hazardous conditions, and review the process, safety management, loss control program. Produce risk improvement report to the client based on international safety standard. Follow-up risk improvement if required.

Technical Service

• Provide technical support to the account handlers, i.e.
• Translate survey report into English
• Provide desktop survey
• Create an underwriting package from acquired information
• Carry out a technical research
• Conduct training/presentation to all related persons on concerned topics

Special Service

• Provide firefighting water system testing
• Fire pump performance test
• Hydrant system test
• Collaborate with the client to develop/review/revise Business Continuity Plan
• Witness the fire protection system testing, commissioning, or seminar.

Engage in customer acquisition activities such as sales presentations and meetings. General

• Acquire and improve own knowledge and skills from both internal and external sources to ensure own work’s quality and continuous improvement.
• Undergo specific training to enhance the skills to the responsibility assigned.

Qualifications

• Education Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering
• Experienced in Risk assessment, safety management, engineering, or loss control areas.
• Fluent in written/spoken in English/Thai
• Ability in Microsoft Word/Excel and internet is basically required
• Good personality, human relationship and able to work independently with initiative and high team spirit
• Able to visit the client in Bangkok and Upcountry
