Job Descriptions:
The senior engineer/architect position will be part of the central technical team of SCB 10X. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be the main person to lead (and peer review) the design of solutions, architecture, and infrastructure (e.g., data, model deployment, optimization, monitoring).
- Support Venture Capital team to evaluate prospect companies, particularly on their engineering feasibility and technology capability.
- Stay up to date on the latest technology emergences relevant to the business domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore ideas where AI, Blockchain, Metaverse, or any other promising technology.
- Provide technical support in product idea validation.
- Work with industrial experts, other engineers, and scientists to develop a proof of concept of validated ideas.
- Build on the speed and lean mindset when testing ideas and build on the quality and security mindset when the systems come to production.
Qualifications:
- Solid computer science/engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in architecture design, infrastructure management and end-to-end software development projects
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience in some of these programming languages: Node.js, Go, Python, Scala, Java
- Ability to take ownership, think proactively, make rational decisions, and communicate results / raise issues to the team effectively
- Strong team player: prioritize work and organize your time to support others efficiently
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter and fast learner in working with new areas/topics
- Deep knowledge in one or more industrial domains is preferred
- Experience in AI, Blockchain, or Metaverse project development is preferred
- Strong background in frontend development (UI design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React) is a plus
