You’ll be assembling the vision from internal Product Directors, Product Managers and Product Owners and sharing this with our sprint teams by crafting, maintaining and prioritising the product backlog in JIRA & supporting confluence content.
Responsibilities centre around working as a core member of one, or more, of our scrum teams, ensuring those sprint teams know exactly what to develop. Handling queries from the scrum team promptly in daily stand ups, responding quickly and openly to any challenges to ensure the highest quality end product whilst maintaining momentum in our sprints.
Continuous improvement is central to how we work and the SBA is at the centre of this. You’ll promote balanced and open conversation around new feature development to ensure broad understanding of direction whilst doing your bit to ensure we make good decisions in product design.
End users will need your support, you’ll need to talk their language as well as understanding the technical team's perspective.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in Scrum / Agile methodology, including writing use- stories and acceptance criteria utilising INVEST criteria, experience with JIRA and Confluence
2+ years Business Analysis experience
Excellent oral and written communication English language skills – able to tailor your approach with both with technical and non-technical team members
Confident presentation and facilitation skills - ability to influence and negotiate with partners over scope
Ability to mentor junior staff and new joiners across Business Analysis and wider teams
Detail oriented and highly organized, with the ability balance multiple tasks / projects
Understands the principles of usability and helps ensure the software is fit for purpose
An understanding of the KYC / AML / DD environment
