Working with large and complex datasets, including both structured and unstructured data, to discover actionable insights, and model features to build or improve recommendation models. Developing an end-to-end process from data sources to insights.
Coming up with new ideas, designing experimentation, and testing hypotheses. Developing and executing research plans and communicating outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
Providing insightful visualization, explanation, and recommendation for the next course of action.
Occasionally communicating your work to both technical and business audiences via live demonstrations, presentations, whitepapers, and publications.
Design of experiment and optimize A/B testing to get the best results when the project/campaign launches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
2+ years of experience in manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
Can-do attitude, eager to learn new technologies, open-minded, and able to communicate your ideas to others effectively.
Experienced in Python and SQL programming languages.
Experienced in one or more specialized areas, e.g., recommendation systems, statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, LLM, and optimization.
Experienced with data tools such as Data Looker Studio or Tableau.
Understand potential outcomes and be familiar with experiment design, A/B testing, or split testing.
Good verbal and written skills in English
BONUS: Experienced in any of the following technologies: ElasticSearch, Spark, Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Google Analytics, Dataproc, etc.).
