As the Sales Training & Development Manager you will be involved in
Training & Development
Assess sales learning & developments needs for both internal and external (distributor) field sales professionals. This includes preparation & communication of annual training plan along with scheduling activities
Plan and Review L&D budget spend for travel, course work and expenditures
Work closely with People & Culture on the development plans, succession planning and career mapping of Sales professionals
Monitoring of results and sales effectiveness to analyse gap and provide solution to the team.
Evolve Sales development master plan covering assessment, training and certification
Initiate and develop roadmap, critical metrics, annual implementation and field coaching schedule to enhance Salesforce capabilities
Establish and evaluate key metrics for assessing training effectiveness
Stakeholder Management
Cooperate with Regional Sales Managers to assess and develop sales competencies enhancement plan to support regional commercial priorities
Drive collaboration from cross functional teams including RTM, Commercial Development, P&C, Field Marketing and Brand team on functional capabilities requirement to support Sales capability development agenda aligned with expectations
Implement and monitor Sales Incentives with regular assessments to evaluate effectiveness and relevance to achieving specific sales objectives.
Execution Excellence
Develop commercial coaches and distributor knowledge management for Area Sales Managers on functional and corporate aspects
Set standard competency to identify the potentials of high performers and build on their strengths, improvement areas and career progression
Ensure development tools in place to embed JTI core behaviors and "winning" attitude for Salesforce to achieve commercial goals
Performance Management
Maintain a presence in field to follow up on implementation. Highlights strong performers and identify areas of improvement.
Develop a mechanism to map the sales functional capability of all general trade sales team and develop an action plan to address it.
Monitor productivity result (Sales Force Effectiveness)
To identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis and consultation with line managers.
Who are we looking for?
University degree or equivalent (required)
Must have at least 5 years of sales experience, and/or sales training with a proven track record. Prefer at least 2 years of Managerial experience. Should also have experience in teaching & facilitate sales techniques to others. FMCG background is preferable.
Very good knowledge of English and Thai (Written&Verbal)
Excellent presentation skills, proficiency in project management, connections with learning institutions as well as the ability to empower, teach and inspire sales team.
Strong communication, partner management, budget management and time management
