Conduct research and development of new technologies, particularly in microgrid systems, solar energy, energy storage, e-mobility and Innovation Technology solutions.
Design, simulate, and analyze renewable energy systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project coordinators, technical specialists, and external partners, to develop and test prototypes and pilot projects.
Develop technical specifications, perform feasibility studies, and create comprehensive reports on R&D findings and progress.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and methodologies to achieve R&D project goals.
Lead and manage R&D projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality of results.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards in renewable energy and smart grid systems.
Support the commercialization of new technologies through collaboration with marketing, sales, and operations teams.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and provide solutions for technical challenges encountered during development and deployment.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns within the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3 years of experience in research and development within the renewable energy sector, particularly in solar, microgrid, or energy storage technologies.
Strong understanding of energy management systems, microgrid technologies, power electronics, and smart grid applications.
Proficiency in engineering software tools for simulation, modeling, and analysis (e.g., Helioscope HOMER, PVSyst, AutoCAD, etc.).
Hands-on experience with renewable energy systems design, and project development
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills in English and Thai, both written and spoken.
Passion for renewable energy and sustainability, with a proactive attitude toward innovation and continuous improvement.
