Product Owner - Procurement & Group Operations
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Product Vision and Roadmap
o Develop and communicate a clear technology strategy aligned with stakeholder objectives.
o Identify market opportunities and customer needs
o Create and maintain a technology product roadmap.
o Identify emerging technologies with potential applications.
o Define and communicate the product's value proposition
• Requirements Definition and Prioritization
o Gather and prioritize user stories and product features based on business value
o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and market trends
o Create and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog
o Define user stories, features, and acceptance criteria for technology projects.
• Technology Solution Delivery
o Work closely with development and implementation teams to ensure technology solutions meet business need and deliver on time on budget.
o Provide guidance and clarification to development teams during the implementation phase.
o Monitor project progress and remove impediments to delivery.
• Stakeholder Engagement
o Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
o Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring alignment.
o Communicate technology project updates and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Usability and User Experience
o Ensure that technology solutions are user-friendly and aligned with business processes.
o Gather user feedback and incorporate usability improvements into product development.
o Prioritize features that enhance the user experience.
• Product Performance and Optimization
o Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success
o Identify areas for improvement and optimization based on data-driven insights
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the product
• Compliance and Risk Management
o Ensure that technology solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards
o Identify and mitigate technology-related risks with your product
o Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams
• People Management
o Lead and mentor members of the product team
o Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
o Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent experience. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Certification in product management agile methodologies is advantageous.
