Serve as key business partners to local business to provide legal support, identify and mitigate legal risks on a broad range of issues including corporate transactions, general corporate matters, employment, procurement, sales, distribution agreements, litigation, compliance and risk management.
Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
Provide support to Midea's growing operations, including manufacture and sales in Thailand
Provide guidance and counsel to local management teams on matters pertaining to commerce, employment, and regulatory affairs.
Collaborate with Midea's subject matter experts (SMEs), utilizing their specialized knowledge and expertise to effectively oversee and handle litigation matters.
In addition, it further encompasses the management of the product safety and regulatory compliance matters.
Key Requirements
Law degree and license to practice law in Thailand
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification and corporate and/or commercial experience at a reputable law firm, in-house position at a multinational, or a combination thereof
Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders
Strong contact drafting, negotiation and corporate registration skills
Enjoy interacting with people, strong analytic, problem-solving, interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills, sound judgement even in ambiguous situations
Flexibility to work in an international and fast-paced environment, able to meet tight deadlines
Highly proficient in written and spoken English required
