Pr Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative PR strategies that increase awareness and understanding of Apple’s products and software.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product PR managers from the regional hub and Southeast Asia (SEA) teams, covering key areas such as Apple Intelligence, operating systems, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, education, and health.
• Devise and execute global communications initiatives that resonate with local audiences, ensuring strategic alignment with Apple’s brand values and objectives.
• Manage media relations, identify emerging platforms, and engage with creative and cultural communities to expand Apple’s storytelling reach.
• Lead strategic planning and execution, addressing issues in a fast-paced media environment with continuous news cycles.
• Work closely with the SEA PR team to enhance public understanding of Apple’s products, values, and corporate messaging.
• Oversee and collaborate with external PR agencies, ensuring effective execution of media strategies and relationship-building initiatives.
• Travel across the region as required to support PR activities and strengthen regional partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in public relations, influencer relations, or PR agency work within Southeast Asia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally, leveraging formal and informal networks.
• Expertise in crafting and delivering clear, audience-specific communications.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex information and drive effective problem-solving.
• Deep understanding of stakeholder expectations and requirements.
• Knowledge of the smartphone or PC market is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in media relations, with an established network across creative, tech, design, and cultural platforms.
• Track record of successfully delivering high-impact, creative PR campaigns.
• Self-motivated team player with a passion for consumer technology, demonstrating creative and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders while maintaining positive relationships.
