Responsible for the company’s commercial operations including but not restricted to contracts execution & warehouse management and supply chain logistics to support local trading & distribution business.
Monitor schedules for upcoming shipments of bulk commodities and containers vessels.
Manage every step of the importing process, including customs clearance, quarantine inspections, compulsory inspection and other documentary/regulatory requirements
Coordinate domestic logistics and movement of goods for and within the Thailand market.
Assist and advise management and/or commercial team of any potential risk exposure relating to execution of contracts.
Liaise with suppliers, sellers and buyers, ports, ship agents, logistics companies, inspection companies, insurance companies, third-party service providers and concerned parties on logistics and operation matters.
Maintain contracts/vessel files for audit/tax/legal/customs purposes and keep records of all commercial activities, documenting procedures, guidelines, and changes in procedures for records.
Your Profile
Minimum of six years of experience in trade execution.
Sound understanding of trade terms & practices including Gafta, Incoterms.
Working knowledge and experience of importing agricultural commodities into Thailand.
Working knowledge and experience of Thailand domestic logistics.
Experience in warehouse inventory management of agricultural commodities
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated capacity to excel within a fast-pace work environment.
Proven ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decisions and solving problems.
Proven ability to work within a team-based work environment, focused on transparent communication.
