Internal Audit Executive

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development of audit plans based on risk assessments and compliance requirements specific to the retail industry in Thailand.

- Conduct internal audits of various functional areas, including retail operations, inventory management, sales, finance, and procurement.

- Perform audit procedures to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Identify potential risks and control deficiencies through audit testing and analysis of business processes.

- Assist in assessing the impact and likelihood of identified risks and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.

- Verify compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies relevant to the retail sector in Thailand.

- Review documentation and procedures to ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.

- Provide guidance to business units on compliance requirements and assist in addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance issues.

- Document audit findings, including observations, conclusions, and recommendations, in clear and concise audit reports.

- Present audit results to management and discuss findings, implications, and proposed actions for improvement.

- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution.

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or accounting, preferably with exposure to asset management or the insurance field.

- Analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, and teamwork.

- Well versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

- Able to carry out audit fieldwork independently by referring to audit programs, audit checklists, and guidance provided by the internal audit manager in effective and efficient manners.

- Able to travel alone within Thailand to perform audit review.
