Key Responsibilities
1. Custom Clearance:
- Handle all customs documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Coordinate with customs brokers, clearing agents, and government authorities for smooth import/export processes
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and update relevant stakeholders
2. Inbound and Outbound Logistics:
- Plan and manage inbound shipments from shipments from suppliers and regional hubs
- Coordinate outbound shipments to customers, outlets, or distributors
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistical issues
3. Vendor and Freight Coordination:
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transportation providers and 3PL vendors to arrange shipments
- Negotiate transportation rates and ensure cost-effective logistics solutions
4. Documentation Management:
- Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists etc.
- Maintain accurate records of all imports, exports, and domestic shipments in the ERP system
5. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to import/export regulations and company policies
- Generate logistics performance reports and highlight areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field
- At least a year of relevant work experience in warehouse operations or inventory management
- Experience with F&B import and export preferred
- Proficient in using logistics software, including ERP systems
- Ability to manage and track multiple processes concurrently
- Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Mandarin not required, but a plus
