Key Responsibilities
Policies And Labour Compliance
- Strong knowledge of local labour regulations and laws to ensure 100% compliance.
- Create and update policies as per local labour law.
- Strong knowledge of union processes
- Maintaining and developing HR handbooks and policies, ensuring these are up to date and aligned with global standards.
Thailand HR Support
- Be first point of contact for associate’s day to day queries.
- Be responsive to business needs to ensure information is shared in a timely fashion.
- Case management support, including note taking for Employee Relation cases, diary management for meetings, issuing relevant letters and ad hoc related activities.
- Absence management and support for long term sick cases.
- Involvement with training interventions and BU specific requirements.
- Assist with onboarding activities for deputed associates and local hires including onboarding planning for D+ hires.
- Conduct exit interviews and collate/communicate data trends as appropriate
- Be an active participant and take opportunities to present on any project you may be involved with.
Engagement
- Create and launch engagement programs to retain, develop and motivate associates to achieve their full potential with a high level of engagement.
- Arrange Townhalls, HR connects/surgeries, BU newsletters, BU and Corporate Induction
- Proactively suggest new ideas to engage our associates.
- Promote the #Cheers reward and recognition program
- Partner with wider HR team on the creation, launch and monitoring of Diversity and Inclusion programs across the business units in Thailand.
Policies, Systems & Compliance
- Collaborate with HR functions to service associate requests and interact with associates via calls and email communication regarding HR policies.
- Assist with HR projects as required.
- Assist associates with their queries in line with Thailand policy.
- Interpret and implement organizational Policies/Programs/Procedure
- Chase associates who may have defaulted on various tasks/training e.g. Amex defaulters
HR Surveys, Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare, review, interpret and analyze employee survey data to provide information and reports to stakeholders. Make recommendations in the form of an action plan based on findings.
- Provide research support to HR lead and others
- Split spreadsheets for the management teams.
Shared Services
- Partnership with the HRSS team, to supply relevant information
- Track BU compliance for each HR cycle and report back on progress to HR managers.
Required Skills
- Preferably Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or similar – and a 4+ year hands-on experience in an HR role
- Strong Knowledge of functional human resources discipline, including HR Statutory Compliance, Grievance Handling, Talent Management.
- In depth HR Statutory Knowledge / HR Shared Services /Talent Management / People Compliance / Audit with regards to HR
- Knowledge of Labour laws and regulations relating to employee and labour relations and suitable consequence management
- Ability to work effectively with confidential information.
- Competency in handling sensitive issues.
- Customer focused.
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
- Prior experience in a Human Resources or related role.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Excellent English communication (verbal & written) skills & problem-solving ability required.
