Be directly responsible for generating hundreds of millions of incremental GMV in the next three years as we become the market leader in a $375bn+ industry by growing the APAC business 10X+.
Build, own, maintain, and execute the 3-year partnership strategy for APAC that facilitates the channels’ growth to achieve FY 2026 market share targets in strategic verticals in and around travel that achieve company and channel goals.
Work with Leadership to build, measure, and report on, and own KPI and OKR performance metrics and work with Revenue Operations to assess goal achievement and variable compensation distribution.
Regularly communicate strategies, impact, learnings, and next steps to GetYourGuide leadership via weekly, monthly, and quarterly business updates.
Build and maintain a world-class Strategic Partnerships Team that establishes, grows, and maintains partnerships with some of the world’s leading brands in and around travel while building the next generation of leaders within the team.
Be responsible for the Sales and Account Management function within the region. This includes, but is not limited to: regular time and investments tied to reporting and building best practices through GetYourGuide systems (CRM, Looker, etc) creating lead lists, activating prospecting efforts, outreach and lead generation tactics and strategies, pitching (sales), negotiating, signing, onboarding, and managing partnerships.
Work closely with Legal, FP&A, Partner Tech, Supply, Accounting, Product, and Brand and Growth Marketing Teams to build feasible, scaleable, and profitable partnership structures, ensure compliance and acheive partnership milestones, maximize impact on the GetYourGuide brand, and position partnerships to grow both short and long term
Represent GetYourGuide at key industry conferences and meetings with leaders of major players in and around travel and tech
Build and nurture a healthy team culture based on GetYourGuide’s core values and act as a role model by creating an environment of personal growth, trust, passion, and high performance in your teams
Who You Are
You are based in Bangkok or are willing to relocate. We operate on a hybrid work model and value weekly in-person interaction in our office 4 days per week.
7-10+ years experience working in sales, key account management, or business development functions
3+ years experience in management roles at high-growth marketplace, SaaS, or e-commerce companies
Well-connected in APAC, have a strong network and reputation, and can unlock conversations and negotiations with senior stakeholders and decision-makers with the most reputable brands in and around travel, tech, and finance
Proficient and have a good understanding of affiliate marketing
Strong business acumen and commercial instincts, specifically in contract negotiation and relationship management
Effective leader and people manager with a proven track record of recruiting and developing A-players
Deep understanding of online marketplace dynamics, with demonstrated success in driving growth, tangible results, and KPI improvements
Entrepreneurial attitude to win despite all challenges, thriving in a fast-paced environment, growth mindset, and learners attitude
Highly collaborative, low ego leader
Outstanding communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills with a strong win-win mentality and natural ability to build relationships
