    Head of Compensation and Benefits Strategy and Analytic

    Position Details

    Job Description

    Compensation Strategy:

    • Developing and executing a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. This involves setting competitive salary structures, bonus programs, and other incentives to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
    • Designing and managing employee benefit programs.
    • Ensuring these offerings are competitive and meet the needs and expectations of employees.
    • Conducting job evaluations to determine appropriate salary ranges and benchmarking the organization's compensation packages against industry standards and market trends.
    • Utilizing market data and HR analytics to make well-informed decisions about pay and benefits.
    • Keeping up with market trends and industry best practices in relation to pay and benefits, and giving suggestions for updates and enhancements to current programs.
    • Managing the compensation and benefits budget, optimizing costs, and balancing the need for competitive packages with the company's financial constraints.
    • Overseeing executive compensation programs, including designing executive salary packages, equity grants, and other executive benefits.


    Payroll Management:

    • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
    • Ensuring that all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as employment standards, tax laws, and labor regulations.
    • Overseeing the implementation and management of HR information systems (HRIS) and other HR technology to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.


    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance or Marketing.
    • At least ten years’ experience in an HR managerial position.
    • At least five years’ successful team leadership experience.
    • Strategic planning expertise.
    • Experienced in HR Consultant is required.
    • Expert knowledge of common HRIS.
    • Conflict resolution and change management skills.
    • Strong grasp of project management.
    • Collaborative and client-centric minds.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
