Digital Engineer ( SAP Quality Assurance)

Position Details

Your key accountabilities will be to:


  • Using Agile methodology, develop testing process to identify errors and issues for bug tracking in business process and document in testing tool to improve business productivity.
  • Contribute towards Continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) of multiple products
  • Ensure quality controls are defined and adopted, in line with recognised testing frameworks and industry best practices
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Development Engineers and Architects to understand and improve the quality of product offerings
  • Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms to help improve overall quality and test code coverage
  • Define, maintain, and execute test cases / scenarios in line with user requirements / stories and software releases (both manual and automated)
  • Liaise with both internal and external to support testing activities, such as Unit Testing, Functional / Non-functional Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing
  • Identify and prioritize test conditions addressing product risks and features to be tested
  • Capture details of defects and steps to replicate, manage end-to-end tracking of defects and their remediation in a systematic way
  • Perform testing duties to a high standard while adhering to implementation timelines agreed with the business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with global peers to build out automated testing capabilities around the platform
  • Participate in the agile team ceremonies, including sprint planning, decomposition, and daily stand-ups
  • Ensure all QA activities are conducted throughout the life cycle and that the results from these activities are verified


What Is Needed To Succeed


  • 4+ years of leading large enterprise scale QA engineering of application implementations within manufacturing, retail, fashion or FMCG
  • Manufacturing technology experience, in at least two Manufacturing technology disciplines including Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Manufacturing ERP, Sourcing & Procurement, Advanced Planning & Scheduling is a strong benefit
  • Strong understanding of standard software testing frameworks & methodology (test planning, test scope identification, test case development, test execution, reviews and defect management)
  • Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI testing, Automated testing, Test driven development strategies etc
  • Working knowledge of performance, accessibility, security testing, continuous integration tools and cloud technologies
  • Ability to independently develop and execute test plans including manual, automated, unit, and performance testing
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills of complex issues, and follow-through actions including documenting and sharing solutions
  • Able to independently drive testing activities on large programs or multiple concurrent functionalities, including delivery of test strategy, test plan, and test status
  • Collaborative and inspiring thought leader, who is eager to share, teach and learn from others, whilst having fun along the way
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technologist eager to learn new testing tools and technologies
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Agile experience, i.e., have a good understanding and practical experience with Agile delivery and Lean methodologies (SAFe, Spotify, SCRUM, Kanban)
