Tasks
Identification of potential cost saving and realization.
- Support of Localization projects for Mercedes Benz Manufacturing Thailand Freezone starting from RFQ, Part development, Part release and approval, price negotiation, price controlling and technical alteration issues.
Suppliers Development and member of Auditor team/ Assessment team.
- Development of local suppliers regarding Quality Standard.
- In charge of local content supplier development, participate in the Auditor team, as well as ensuring a quality of parts/products at the corporate standards
Contract management
- In charge of procurement & price negotiation process, as well as finalize Purchase contract and Blanket purchase orders according to contract renewal period
- Technical Support on responsible commodities such as Interior and Exterior
- Be a focal point of the Technical Alteration Management and technical related issues of Interior and Exterior parts
- Supplier market investigations and evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics or Mechatronics or equivalent
- Knowledge in Understanding technical drawings, Manufacturing process and Procurement expertise
- Knowledge of automotive field, competence to work independently and under high pressure
- Technical, commercial, flexible, analytical, social, confident, honest and have good cooperation in work.
- 4 -6 years’ experience in engineering & production procurement.
- Knowledge in Customs free zone regulation, Local content regulation, Thai Automotive Institute
- Fluent in English
- Computer literacy
- CFZ Scheme and related Regulation
