Project Engineer (Substation) - SCG Cleanergy
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Review: Check technical details, Electrical Design and plans, ensuring everything meets the Owner specifications (TOR or RFP).
Technical Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact between Consultant, EPC, PEA, EGAT and suppliers, solving technical problems and ensuring project on schedule satisfaction.
Project Management: manage the installation and testing of high-voltage equipment, making sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Service Operations: Manage service activities, improving processes to deliver better and faster service to project on schedule. Weekly /Monthly report preparation and project progress presentation.
Team Supervision: Lead and guide a small team of engineers and technicians, promoting teamwork and helping them achieve project goals.
Record Keeping: Keep accurate project records and check reports on project progress, service work, and EPC performance.
Tracking: Tracking and reporting on specific projects and assumed deadlines coordinating all relevant departments’ activities to ensure smooth flow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Power Electrical Engineering or related field with GPA B: <2.70 , M:<3.30
At least 5 years of experience in project coordinate or management and service in Substation and inspection systems and able to understand technical specifications.
Candidates with experience working with PEA, MEA, or EGAT and with team management experience will be given special consideration.
Strong skills in leading a team and managing people.
Good knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and inspection equipment.
Ability to plan, manage projects, and solve problems effectively.
High sense of responsibility, positive attitude, and teamwork skills.
Basic English communication skills, both spoken and written. (TOEIC <550)
Multi-tasks person, and able to work well under pressure.
Able to drive a car, hold a valid driver’s license, and travel for work to other provinces.
Willingness to travel on business trips to other provinces for approximately 5-15 days per month.
