Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Through engagement with product owners, and the application of diligent QE practices, we will identify and document test scenarios based on Requirement and User Stories.
- Demonstrating a consistent focus on quality, we will ensure that our team delivers reliable, robust software through the creation and execution of automated functional and non-functional tests.
- Through participation in project planning sessions, we will work with other team members to analyze test requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work. Then, we will work with the delivery and release managers to align our team plan and delivery with the program plan and timeline.
- Working within a multi-functional agile team in other LSEG locations, we will build robust automated tests, adhering to company test standards and established software methodology. Also, we will collaborate in the end to end integration testing between systems
- You will also be involved in manual testing, exploratory testing and performance testing.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Basic Java programming skills and use of source code management tools such as Git
- Knowledge of Software Development Process and test management tools, e.g., Jira, TestRail
- Exhibits moderate knowledge in software quality assurance processes and methodologies
- Good communication in English
Desired Skills And Experiences
- Basic experience using Selenium WebDriver or performing API testing
- AWS knowledge or performance test experience is a plus
