Gather, identify, produce summary report and keep updated regularly (monthly/quarterly/bi-annually as the case be) basic information, investment landscape, related regulations, key stakeholders/clients, and intelligence of the assigned market/industry.
Develop and maintain long-term trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
Network with investors, business partners and other professionals in the assigned market/industry to generate new leads. Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Stay up-to-date with new products/services/technologies in the related industries.
Attending and/or representing the company in conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Understand the company’s offering and be able to present our company to potential partners/clients and to identify client/partner needs and suggest appropriate cooperation/products/services.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the assigned market/industry.
Conduct market/industry research and analysis.
Conduct project screening using the company’s investment screening tools and criteria.
Conduct preliminary project feasibility study and project economic analysis/evaluation by using financial model.
Assist (and/or take lead in a specific discipline/task) in coordinating and managing advisors and internal supporting resources to conduct full feasibility study or investment due diligence.
Assist (and/or take lead in a specific discipline/task) in developing non-binding/binding offers and proposals. Make and give presentations to prospective clients/partners.
Assist (and/or take lead in a specific discipline/task) in reviewing, summarizing and negotiating commercial terms and conditions of agreements with partners/clients/advisors/lenders/government agencies throughout project development phase.
Assist (and/or take lead in a specific discipline/task) in setting up a project company complying with local laws and regulations and permits for new project investment.
Assist (and/or take lead in a specific discipline/task) in monitoring and managing ongoing contracts with partners/clients/advisors until final investment decision.
Report to supervisors and/or top management on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) updated progress and budget tracking of projects on hands, and/or the assigned market/industry.
Produce necessary paper, analysis and presentation for the company’s internal approval processes.
Coordinate with all relevant parties externally and internally to achieve project/deal closing.
Keep project records and make transfer to related department(s) after final investment decision.
Complete other jobs as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Economics / Laws / or Energy-Related Technologies with an excellent academic background with a master’s degree in MBA / Businesses / or Energy-Related Technologies.
At least 5 years of experience in power and/or new energy technologies is highly desirable.
Previous overseas project assignments are viewed as a plus.
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
Hands-on experience and knowledge in power and energy-related fields
Ability to focus on delivering results and problem solving across different functions of work.
Be able to travel and work in oversea.
Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai languages
Communication skills in Chinese is a plus
