Analyze financial data (generally using SQL to obtain dataset and Excel to analyze) across business entities within Shopee Thailand
Lead projection and P&L planning exercise at daily, monthly and yearly level - including both initiating forward outlook and formulating recommendations to hit target
Apply structured framework to estimate hard-to-find information and deliver original insights
Improve existing estimation and forecast solutions by scrutinizing current assumptions, identifying how our understanding would change if assumptions changed, and quantifying these uncertainty (i.e. sensitivity analysis)
Translate complex data analysis into accessible business-focused reports and recommendations and present to stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in quantitative fields (Engineering, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Finance or related fields is preferred)
3-5 years of work experience in e-commerce, consulting, financial services or similar roles in other fast-growing industries
Knowledge of SQL/Python/Excel is preferred but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
