Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including employee scheduling, food preparation, and customer service
• Help train new and existing staff members on food and beverage operations, customer service standards, and company policies
• Schedule and supervise the work of restaurant staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create a positive work environment, resolve customer issues, and achieve business goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience in the food service industry
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and restaurant operations
• Previous supervisory experience of at least 1 year is preferred
