Operational Excellence: Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations, including staff management, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring smooth functioning of the restaurant.
Guest Relations: Create a welcoming atmosphere, address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for all patrons.
Staff Management: Support in recruiting, training, and developing staff. Motivate the team, conduct performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
Wine Knowledge: Leverage wine expertise to guide guests in selecting the perfect wine, actively promote wine sales, and manage the wine inventory.
Quality Control: Monitor food and service quality to ensure adherence to high standards.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute fresh ideas to enhance operations and improve the guest experience.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role within a high-end restaurant setting.
Wine Knowledge: Solid understanding of wines, including varieties and pairings, with the ability to actively promote wine sales.
Appearance: Professional and well-groomed.
Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
Education: Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus but not required.
