Assistant Chief Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Chief Engineer at DoubleTree by Hilton located in Bangkok. The Assistant Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the engineering department, conducting regular inspections and maintenance of facilities and equipment, managing a team of engineers and technicians, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient hotel operations.

• Strong knowledge and experience in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and facility issues
• Experience in managing and leading a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Certifications in relevant fields (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC) are beneficial
• Fluency in Thai and English
