SEA Commercial Counsel, Thailand

Responsibilities

- Work with legal teams and product teams globally to advise on monetization products in SEA

- Provide business stakeholders with legal and compliance advice across a wide range of subject areas, including advertising, privacy, intellectual property, platform/publisher liability, product liability, contract and consumer protection laws

- Draft and advise on product features and platform terms of use, privacy policies and guidelines

- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with advertisers, agencies, creators, service providers and ad tech companies

- Provide legal advice to business teams on marketing campaigns and initiatives

- Assist with updating contract models and templates as necessary

- Instruct and liaise with external counsels as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience working in an in-house legal department of a technology company or in a reputable law firm with substantial experience in TMT work

- Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts

- Enjoys being challenged, is adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment

- Strong drafting, presentation and communication skills

- Admitted to practice in Thailand or any commonwealth jurisdiction.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiar with Thai legal and compliance issues relating to technology products and their features

- Experience working with international teams in a cross-functional environment
